Welcome to Districts
The United Methodist Church in Greater New Jersey has six (6) district communities of people working in two main geographic regions, Coastal Plains and Metro-Highlands as the hands and feet of Jesus to serve our PURPOSE. See the area sections below for GNJUMC district location listings.
About GNJUMC Districts
The United Methodist Church in Greater New Jersey is comprised of six (6) districts of about 60-90 churches each and are clustered into two main regions as a result of 2021 redistricting plans.

Cape Atlantic
Cape Atlantic District (CAD) UWFaith covers some churches in the Delaware Bay, Capital, and Northern Shore Districts, and all churches in the Cape Atlantic District. CAD activities include:
The CAD UWFaith Grant, efforts to secure a senatorial commitment to present UWFaith's support for current bills to "interrupt the school-to-prison pipeline." Our cry for help is for you to contact your legislators for assistance. Please report your efforts and/or questions via this website CONTACT page.

Central
Central District UWFaith covers churches in the southern part of the Northern Shore District and most of the churches in the Capital District.
